SAN FRANCISCO — Relief pitcher Ryan Tepera was optioned to triple-A Buffalo by theToronto Blue Jays on Wednesday.

The move comes hours after Tepera walked in the winning run in a 5-4 13 inning loss to the San Francisco Giants.

Tepera has an 11.57 earned-run average this season in 2.1 innings pitched with one strikeout.

Last season, the right-hander had a 3.27 ERA with 22 strikeouts over 33 innings.

He was called up from Buffalo on May 9.
