Working alongside manager Stan Schneider for more than 50 years, the “Rhinestone Cowboy” has recently inked a new deal for management of his collection with longtime management company TKO Artist Management.

Glen Campbell has been battling Alzheimer’s for some time now and has had some good moments as of late, like recognizing his eldest son while struggling with the final stages of the disease, which affect awareness and communication.

The new deal brings all of Campbell’s music, both what has been released and what has not into the fold of artists overseen by TKO President, TK Kimbrell. Schneider will continue to work as Campbell’s business manager.

“[Glen Campbell] is one of the greatest talents to ever walk the face of the earth,” Kimbrell gushed to Music Row. “I’ve helped on a few projects over the years…

Stan is Glen’s age and he asked a while back if I would consider taking over and the family blessed that. My goal is to make sure Glen’s musical legacy lives on forever and is passed down for generations to come.”

Although he continues to battle Alzheimer’s and some of his cognition has degraded significantly as a result, Kimbrell revealed that “he seem[ed] really happy” and noted that he loves to see his family who visits often.

Before Campbell was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s, he had recorded an enormous catalog of music that has never been released. Through this new partnership, some of that music will come to life.

“There were years Glen played guitar or sang on 500-600 records per year,” Kimbrell revealed. “There are unreleased recordings of him with [famed LA studio musicians] The Wrecking Crew — lots of them.” We cannot wait to see what comes of this new partnership and Kimbrell surely seems excited to add a legend like Campbell to his roster.
