Three games into the Tampa Bay Lightning-Detroit Red Wings series, it’s pretty safe to say that no love has been lost between these Atlantic Division rivals.

No one is expecting them to shake hands as they leave the ice, but capping off the night with fisticuffs would appear to be the other extreme.

Of course, this isn’t the first time the Lightning and Red Wings have stood in each other’s way in the quest for the Stanley Cup.

Perhaps the scrappy nature of this series is an extension of their first-round tilt last season which Tampa won in seven games.

Either way, sharing the ice surface has become a bit of a chore. Click on the video above to watch how things unfolded after the final buzzer of Game 3 on Sunday night.

As another example, check out the massive brawl that went down near the end of Game 2. It was a complete yard sale.

Pavel Datsyuk has certainly paid the price, losing a tooth in all of the madness.

For some viewers, this brand of play makes for must-see hockey.

But maybe viewer discretion should be advised.

The Lightning jumped out to a 2-0 lead in the series, however Detroit responded with a 2-0 win at Joe Louis Arena on Sunday, adding more intensity to an already scrappy best-of-seven quarter-final.
