Despite signing Kendrys Morales to a three-year, $33 million deal last week, FanRags Sports’ Jon Heyman reports the team remains interested in retaining the Dominican-born slugger.

Heyman believes a similar offer remains on the table to the four-year, $80 million deal the team extended to the three-time All-Star prior to inking Morales.
The offer is a similar deal to that of Red Sox first baseman Hanley Ramirez, who signed a four year $88 million deal with Boston two years ago.
The 33-year-old designated hitter is coming off a 42-home run season where he hit .263 with a career-high 127 runs batted in.
