Two teenage girls have died in a shooting at a school in the US city of Phoenix.

Glendale Officer Tracey Breeden told reporters on Friday that both victims were 15 years old and were shot once.

She said authorities were not searching for any suspects and that a weapon had been found near the bodies.

She did not have any information on the relationship between the girls, who died at the scene.

Breeden told parents awaiting word on their kids that “your children are safe.”
